Young SeoPresident and CEO
Young Seo founded RODO Medical in Sunnyvale, California in 2009 and assembled a team of many seasoned professionals in the medical device industry. He raised a seed round from a group of dentists who became very excited about the concept and would ultimately become the device users. Shortly after delivering the proof of concept, Young led the company to raise the series A round from high-net-worth individuals in 2010, complete the first generation product in 2011 and obtain a CE Mark in 2012. Prior to RODO Medical, Young co-founded Enview Technologies in 2001, which was incubated from his Ph.D. thesis into a patented technology in the automotive industry. Young holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Michael ParsonsExecutive Vice President Corporate Development, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Mr. Parsons has over 20 years of business and legal experience. Prior to joining Rodo Medical, Mr. Parsons served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Onpharma Inc., a pharmaceutical and medical device company that developed an innovative buffering solution to vastly improve the efficacy and speed of local anesthesia. Onpharma was acquired by Valeant Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: VRX) in March 2014. Prior to Onpharma, Mr. Parsons served as Vice President and General Counsel at Telocity Inc. and DirecTV Broadband (a subsidiary of Hughes Electronics). Mr. Parsons has experience in financing transactions, investor relations, and served as a trial and corporate law attorney in San Jose, CA. Mr. Parsons has a BA in Pre-Law from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a JD from the University of Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law.
Rich VicentiCFO
Rich has more than 30 years CFO experience in life science, technology, and high growth companies. He is also currently acting CFO at Amaranth Medical Inc. and Senior Financial Advisor for the Ashoka Foundation. He was consulting CFO at Sonitus Medical from 2007-2011. Richard has a MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
James Park Vice President of R&D
Mr. James Park received BSE in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science at University of Michigan, and received MSE in Aerospace Engineering and Certificate Management of Technology at Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Park has been working at RODO Medical since August 2009.
Patrick MercerVice President Manufacturing
Patrick has over 17 years experience working in medical device manufacturing and operations. His work experience includes employment with Kimberly-Clark Corp, Stryker, Revivant Corp/ZOLL Medical, Hemosense / Inverness Medical Innovations and most recently DFINE Inc. As Vice President of Manufacturing and Logistics at DFINE, Patrick was responsible for setting up and validating new manufacturing operations in Hungary and Costa Rica. His global experience includes managing overseas services and production facilities in Eastern Europe, China and Australia. Patrick graduated from the University of Alabama with a BSEE, Magna Cum Laude, Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering. Prior to entering college, Patrick proudly served in the Nuclear Power Program of the US Navy.
Jason BellatiDirector of Sales
Jason has over 15 years of technology sales experience, and has been in the dental industry since 2011. Prior to joining Rodo Medical, Jason served as District Sales Manager for Planmeca USA’s CAD/CAM division. Prior to Planmeca, he held similar positions with 3M ESPE and Global Dental Science. Jason holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a MA in Communication from San Diego State University.

Amir Abolfathi
Amir has over 26 years of operating experience in the healthcare industry focused on developing and commercializing cardiovascular devices, dental products, hearing prosthetics, and genomic diagnostics & analytics. Amir was the inventor and founder of Sonitus Medical in 2006, a novel non-surgical hearing prosthetic. Prior to Sonitus, Amir served for six years as Vice President of R&D at Align Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: ALGN), creators of a unique, invisible orthodontic product called Invisalign.

Amir has over 100+ issued patents. He received a MS in Engineering Management from University of Southern California and BS in Biomedical Engineering from University of California, San Diego.

Greg Garfield
Greg Garfield is an executive with extensive experience in running medical technology companies, including managing and leading people at all levels, as well operational management and business strategy and planning. Originally an attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop, Greg began his medical technology career at Guidant Corporation where he held a number of executive-level legal and business development positions in different Guidant operating companies. Following Guidant’s acquisition by Boston Scientific, Greg joined Acclarent, Inc. where he served initially as Vice President of Corporate Development, and then as Acclarent’s Chief Operating Officer through the acquisition and integration of Acclarent by Ethicon, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company. In addition to RODO Medical, Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sonitus Medical, C2 Therapeutics and Aerin Medical.
Kevin Mosher
Kevin Mosher is an executive with more than 20 years experience in the dental and medical technology industries, and currently serves as President & CEO of ClearChoice Holdings, a nationwide network of dental implant centers that specialize in the treatment of the fully edentulous. Following a five-year stint as a logistics officer in the US Navy, Kevin began his medical career in sales and marketing with Baxter Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson (Ethicon and Advanced Sterilization Products), and Masimo Corporation. As President of startup medical device manufacturer Masimo Corp, Kevin led the commercial activities of an organization that grew from $12 – $70M during his three-year tenure. Following Masimo, he served as President of dental implant manufacturer Nobel Biocare’s North American division where divisional revenues more than doubled from $140M to $315M over a six-year period. Prior to his current position at ClearChoice, Kevin served as President & CEO of medical device startup DFINE, Inc, a company focused on the minimally invasive treatment of diseases of the spine. He holds a B.S. in Applied Engineering Sciences from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Patrick Rivelli
Patrick Rivelli has 22 years of experience as a medical device entrepreneur and investor. He was previously Co-founder, President, and CEO of Smart Therapeutics, which developed the first intracranial stent (acquired by Boston Scientific); and Founder, President, and CEO of Bioabsorbable Therapeutics, which developed a biodegradable coronary stent (acquired by Multi-Cell Corporation). He has been an investor and Director at Chestnut Medical Technologies, Cormedics Corp., and Oroscience, Inc. Mr. Rivelli holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and a MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School.

Dr. Young Seo has 10 years of experience in building technology-focused startup companies. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He also co-founded Enview Technologies, LLC (Ann Arbor, MI) in 2001 and served as Chief Technology Officer. He sits on the Advisory Board for Dunamis, Inc., an innovative software developer in the electronics industry in San Jose, CA.
Mike Winzeler
Mr. Mike Winzeler has 25 years of manufacturing/management experience. Since 1997, he has served as President/CEO of Winzeler Stamping Co. located in Montpelier, OH. He co-founded Enview Technologies, LLC in 2001 and serves as its president. In addition, Mr. Winzeler has worked as a manager at Frito-Lay, Inc. and Find/SVP. He graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH and holds a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
